There are some popular ways to stress relief that I like. One great way to relieve the negative impact of stressful situations is to deep breathe. Many people when we’re stressed we either completely forget to breathe or we start to breathe shallowly. That’s why I created Good Mood Health with Aromatherapy. I help people relax so they can control mood swings, relieve stress, decrease pain and increase happiness at home and work.

Learn to relax – it will take practice so be patient with yourself.  Think of it as a good “time out” for yourself instead of as a luxury.  It’s so healing to give yourself a gift of 30 minutes to an hour a day to just relax.

Taking deep breaths is a quick and easy thing to do when we’re feeling stressed out, whether we’re at the home or the office.

So the first thing you want to do is start to breathe deeply. You want to inhale for a count of four and exhale for a count of four, and repeat 4 cycles of inhale/exhale on the 4 count. You can do as many cycles of repetitions as you need to, to take back your power, gain control of yourself and feel relaxed.

You will know you are deep breathing properly by placing your hand on your lower belly and, as you breathe in, make sure that your diaphragm is dropping down, and your belly gently blows up like a balloon, it will gently push your belly out, which will push your hands away from you. And that’s how you know that you’re taking a nice, deep breath.

It is okay to make sounds as you exhale.  The more sound the better. Vibration from the sound helps you vent the negative emotions out, so you can feel better physically and emotionally.

The more you learn about your health and natural healing, the easier it is to take care of your body. Learn more relaxation techniques go to www.glendaBhill.com get FREE Quick Start Guide.
